At Hunger Actions, we see the need to create opportunities for low-income parents to discover affordable ways of eating healthy. We are social entrepreneurs, who are passionate to find innovative ways to address this need.

Since our inception in April 2011, we have worked with numerous groups all over the lower mainland, including Newton Advocacy Group, Kiwassa Neighbourhood House, Surrey Women’s Centre, and the Salvation Army. Participants of this program attend a series of workshops on nutrition, financial literacy, fitness, and cooking, and are encouraged to teach their newly found skills to their families.
